12ft Mesh Dish (Floor Model) Available at Discounted Price

Own a piece of TVRO history!

Our 12ft Mesh Polar Mount Dish floor model is for sale. The asking price is $1799 USD shipped anywhere in the continental USA or Canada. Perfect for that small TV/Radio station on a budget or the backyard enthusiast who wants a large dish without breaking the bank!

We used this dish to take pictures of the 12ft mesh dish models which were posted on our website, affiliate websites, Amazon, ebay, etc! The dish mount is brand new (unopened box). It is the latest model mount with dual screw declination, elevation bracket and thick gauge steel construction. The panels are from a 2017 production run, but we never changed anything in subsequent productions runs, except to drill multiple feed strut holes in the ribs. You can drill any additional feed strut holes yourself with a standard drill.

Now, we did perform some modifications to these panels:

1. We drilled two small holes in the mesh of one of the panels for passing the coax cable;

2. There were some additional small holes drilled in the lip of some of the panels for mounting an experimental dish shroud. They are very small and have since been painted over.

That’s it! Besides those two modifications, it is like brand new. It has never been exposed to the elements, there are no tears in the mesh and they are still shiny gloss black.

Some 8ft Solid Dishes are Available

There were a few of those over sized 8 foot solid dishes at the back of the warehouse. I noticed them last week as we moved some other inventory. They are exactly the same as the ones we were selling since 2017 and are the most recent model, except they come with a black King post instead of the gray one. I can substitute the King post for a buried post or pyramid base if requested. All of the posts are gloss black. If anyone is interested, you can purchase here:

Once these are gone there are no more due to the pandemic and supply chain disruptions, not to mention the weaker economy. 

We sold several hundred of these over the years to backyard enthusiasts and feed back was generally very good. This dish is small enough that you won’t get hassled by your neighbours, but large enough to lock almost every transponder over North America.

SuperJack Positioners are back in Stock


We have received a limited supply of SuperJack DiSEqC 1.2 C-band satellite dish positioners. They have 99 memories and work with most FTA satellite receivers, including Linux/Enigma2 receivers like the Edision.

This controller will output 36 VDC up to 3.5 amps and will drive most 8′, 10′ and 12′ C-band satellite antennas. It comes with all our motorized dish kits and is also recommended for older C-band antennas that are being refurbished.

Tek2000 is Open for Business during the COVID-19 Pandemic

Tek2000 will continue to process and ship out online orders during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are committed to our customers during these extraordinary times like never before, but will also be implementing certain measures to slow down the spread of the virus in our community.

Effective immediately, only one employee will be permitted to work in any of our warehouses on any given day. Walk in or pickup orders have been suspended. We will only process and ship out online orders.

Shipping with the main carriers like Purolator, UPS and Fedex will only take place once a week, and that will usually be on Mondays. This means that regardless of when you place your order, it will ship out the following Monday. The only exception to this rule will be a large order from a TV station or commercial client. Please contact us and we will arrange for a truck delivery appointment that is convenient for you.

Please be aware that to mitigate the spread of the virus, carriers like Purolator, UPS and Fedex have informed us, until further notice, that they do not require a signature from you when they deliver. They will leave your packages on the front porch or other location that you can specify to us when you place your order.

We hope all our customers stay safe and this pandemic is over sooner rather than later and life gets back to normal.

Antenna Production Suspended: Limited Inventory

Due to the recent outbreak of the Corona Virus epidemic in China, we have been forced to suspend all production of our antennas. At this time, our supply chains in China have become disrupted and it is nearly impossible to obtain any raw materials or manufactured goods from that country.

We do not know when things will return to normal. Workers are not returning to factories. Ports are not shipping containers. The country is in complete lock down.

At this time we have limited inventory of 10′, 12′, 13.5′ and 15′ antennas. This inventory won’t last more than 1-2 months. We are out of stock on 6′ and 8′ antennas and have been for a while. Other products like controllers, actuators, feed horns and LNBs are in short supply too.

We contacted everyone who expressed an interest in purchasing our products in the last two weeks and let them know about the situation and reserved their orders. Now we are releasing a public statement so everyone knows about the pending shortages.

If you are a TV or Radio station manager and need a large antenna, please contact us and we will reserve it for you. If you are an amateur satellite enthusiast and were planning to install a C-band dish this spring, you may want to purchase your antenna sooner rather than later. If our web store indicates something is in stock, then we have it in our warehouse and you can order it immediately.

We hope the situation in China gets back to normal soon, but there is no guarantee of that happening. In the meantime, we are looking at other supply chain options, including domestic manufacturing of certain products.
